The Identity of Aging
What defines identity in old age?
Changes due to aging alter the view of oneself. This is not easy but also offers opportunities.
“I want to keep being myself.”
“The older I get, the milder I am with my demands/requirements/expectations towards myself.”
Identity in advanced age changes. This means a balancing act between the wish to be yourself and the acceptance that you cannot do as you wish.

Identity of Agedness
Agedness itself has a character with different facets. If you described agedness as a room, it would look like this:
“A spacious room painted in orange-yellow with a cozy sofa to meet friends and family, a shelf with personal things and medication, a table with 4 chairs to eat and also be creative, a bed alongside a big window, which looks into nature, with a view of a meadow and a huge forest with very old trees. In a rear corner of the room stands an old ticking clock.”
